ACCESS 2026 was a brand new assessment based on the 2020 WIDA Standards. It assessed the Key Language uses Narrate, Inform, Explain, and Argue across all five WIDA Standards. In addition, the assessment evaluated students' use of social and isntructional langauge in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The score results will drop at the end of April. How can we best make sense of this data, which provides a new baseline to use moving forward? Two Georgia ESOL Directors will share perspectives from their respective districts.
