Each year Georgia TESOL recognizes a community member who has preformed significant service to benefit English language learners and the international community in Georgia. The winner of the Public Service award is recognized at the annual conference with a plaque or gift and often gives a brief speech about his/her area of service. The award recipient does not have to be a current member of Georgia TESOL.
