Kendra M. Castelow welcomes Congressman Austin Scott to meet her ESOL students at Miller Elementary in Houston County

Kendra M. Castelow, K-12 Delegate for 2016 TESOL Advocacy & Policy Summit (Click HERE for more information) and welcome from Congressman Austin Scott

Read the following excerpt from Congressman Scott's e-newsletter:

Out and About in the Eighth Congressional District:

Last week, I was able to travel around South and Middle Georgia to meet with constituents in my district offices, as well as visit businesses around the Eighth Congressional District.

On Wednesday, I stopped by Miller Elementary in Warner Robins to meet with Principal Elizabeth Johnson and the ESOL Teacher at the school, Kendra Castelow. My mom taught ESOL in Tifton, so I know the important work they do.  It is our teachers and local school administrators who best know the needs of their students, and I'm grateful for teachers and principals, like those at Miller Elementary, who are making a difference in the lives of their students.
